Randolph
Identity and structure are two components that always are intertwined. One affect the other, although they still remain the same. Very much as fashion will drape an individual in various personas pending on the cut, yet the person underneath the fabric is still the same man. Nonetheless, the clothes serve as keys to explore behaviour, and by doing so elevating the individual's knowledge of self. With a playful tone, the three films for Randolph take on this notion, and hover around the idea that styles and outfits are just as imaginative and varied as that of film genres. By keeping the structure, yet changing every distinguishing symbol, the films will remain the same, although at the same time stay widely apart. It's the beauty of being a person, allowing yourself a rich webb of personas.
In the same time we would like to appeal to curiosity. By only revolving around a singel, fragmented scenario, an unspoken feeling, the films are also social puzzles that want to allure the mind to find out what the relationships and motivations of the characters are. There is not one answer to the question: What is going on?
